We love the big ships!
Icon Class ships work out really well for our family of 5 that includes a teen and two tweens. There is so much for us all to do that it has become our favorite class of ships. We were fortunate enough to be on the inaugural cruise for Icon of the Seas and the naming ceremony for Star of the Seas, so how could we miss booking Legend of the Seas for its first US sailing from Ft. Lauderdale and naming ceremony.
This will be our first ever back to back cruise so standby for our review on whether or not that's worth it with kids.

This ship has a special place in our hearts and we always feel like we're coming home when we board.
As the kids get older, we have to work more and more around their school and sports schedules. While that sounds tough, we've learned that so many others do too! So here we go on our third group cruise on the Oasis of the Seas from Bayonne. School's out for summer so let's Go Go! It's a great time to Vacation Getaway! All I ever wanted! This may be becoming a habit.
We love the inaugural sailings! There's just nothing like a true new cruise ship smell. The Icon Class ships work out so well for our family and we love celebrating the arrival of new ships. This will be the second time we sail an inaugural cruise from Miami and a last chance for a few days away before the kids start school and sports.
